​Spirit team is the soul of our robotics team; spirits keep morale high and students enthusiastic. In addition to organizing cheers at competitions, the spirit team designs the yearly team logo, produces the tee shirts and buttons, hangs locker signs, designs and builds the pit, and finds a team mascot. Not only is this important for team spirit but it is essential to put on a professional public appearance for Paradigm Shift.

Students learn graphic design and work with the business team in acquiring products, the build team in assembling the pit, and public speaking skills in being leaders of the team in the stands.

One of the things we have done on the spirit team was build a checkered rocket of our colors designed for our game this year; Destination Deep Space. With help from a few students and parents we were able to get the rocket finished before our St. Louis regional and show off our Team 1259 pride.
