Sign-Up for Team Emails

• The Coach uses Constant Contact to send out Team Update messages throughout the year. Typically these are weekly during the team's busy period and less frequently during the off-season.
• The Team Update email contains information critical to student participation on the team.
• Parents/Guardians are encouraged to sign up for these updates so they know what is being asked of the students.
  • ​​All students and parents/guardians will be added to the announcement list after registering in Bound (below). Each message contains an unsubscribe link if you no longer wish to receive the messages. Students should NOT unsubscribe while active on the team.

• The Business Team creates a newsletter during the Build and Competition season. this Newsletter contains general interest information about the team's activities and accomplishments.

Sign up for Team 1259 messaging on 'sportsYou'.

• The team uses sportsYou for internal and immediate communication and keeping team members and families 'in the loop' between Team Update emails.
• Students should use their school email address when creating a sportsYou account.
  • ​If you have an account from another athletic/activity you may use the same account and simply join the team using our Access Code.
• Parents are encouraged to join and be part of the conversations. 
• sportsYou provides a web interface as well as applications for Apple and Android.

Register for Activity

• ​​All Pewaukee High School activity participants must register via the District's Bound registration system. Parents/Guardians must login to this system to register their student for Robotics.  FLL Student interns should not register in Bound.

  • This is NOT Skyward and your Skyward account credentials are not used.

           The deadline for registration is November 1st!

Team Fees, Travel Expenses and Saturday Lunches

• There is a $90 team participation fee and a $10 activities fee which will be collected via the Bound registration system. A credit card processing fee will be added during the payment process.​
• Team fees are used to provide team shirts for students and volunteers. Any additional funds collected will be used to offset the cost of season supplies.
• The team participates in two District events during the Competition season. If the team performs well at these events we may be invited to the State Championship event. These events are held a various venues within the state of Wisconsin. If attending an event requires transportation, lodging and/or meals, attending students will be charged a fee based on the projected costs.
  
• The parent volunteers provide lunches during the Saturday meetings during the Build and Competition season. While they strive to provide food options the satisfy student dietary restrictions, they may not be able to provide for every specific need. Students who wish to participate in the provided food will be asked to contribute towards the cost of the meals.
  
  • ​Students are expected to participate in the lunch meeting even if they do not participate in the team provided meals.​
