​The Game

2019's DESTINATION DEEP SPACE, includes two teams of alliances of robots in space that are trying to ensure their survival by placing hatches and securing cargo.

Each three team alliance will gain points by:

1. Securing the hatches. Robots will place hatches on the sides of their cargo ships and spaceships. This ensures that the cargo won't roll out of their storage.
2. Securing the cargo. Robots secure the cargo in different areas of their cargo ships and spaceships. This cargo is necessary for your survival.
3. Climbing the habitat zone. There are 3 different tiers in each hab zone. With each level giving more points the higher you climb.

​This years game is different compared to other years. Now this year, there is no need for an autonomous mode like we've needed in previous years. However, there is a sandstorm period for 15 seconds that blinds the drivers and forces them to use either a camera on the robot, or use autonomous.
